Tell us about your new track, “Turn Back Time”.

"Turn Back Time" is a song I wrote last year when I was reminiscing about a lost relationship and wanting to feel the way I felt before when I was with that person when everything was going great.

What sparked your aural addiction?

As a kid I discovered and fell in love with 1980s music thanks to my sister's record collection. My friends were listening to bands like Oasis, Blur and Nirvana but I was listening to New Order, Depeche Mode and Pet Shop Boys.

Who would you like to collaborate with?

Ulrich Schnauss. For me he is the undisputed king of Synthesizer music.

What is it about the 80s genre that you love the most?

The synthesizers, the drum machines and moody, atmospheric larger than life colourful sound that 1980s music has.

If/when you’re lacking inspiration, how do you kickstart your creativity?

I always default to making sounds on my synthesizer until something moves me and makes me want to make that sound talk.

What was the first album you ever bought?

Erasure - Pop! on Cassette tape.

What is currently on your playlist?

The New Division, Ulrich Schnauss, Missing Words, FM-84 and The Midnight.

What is your favorite type of performance venue?

I don't really mind so long as there's a really appreciative audience.

How have your surroundings influenced your music?

I don't think it's so much my surroundings as much as what's going on in my life at the time which really influences my music.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.

I have white fingernails. And no it's not because they are painted or because I lack calcium.

Anything you’d like to add?

Purple monkey dishwasher.
