How did you come up with the name of your EP Prologue?

I’ve been writing these songs for a long time now and they are all related to my past so I used the title Prologue to signify that this is a new beginning for me.

What is your favorite track off the EP?

It’s got to be "Tell Me It’s Over" because it’s the first song I ever wrote so I have a special attachment to it.

What sparked your aural addiction?

My brother was in a pop punk band and I always remember going to their gigs. Even though they were not very good I enjoyed going to live gigs and my interest in music began. They once wrote a song called Humpy The Camel so you can imagine what their music was like (they were shit!)

Who would you like to collaborate with?

I would do anything to collaborate with The Chainsmokers because they are amazing, every song is a jam!

Are there any genres of music you would like to try or avoid?

I would really like to experiment with the electro pop scene and potentially country music too. And although I’d probably suck at it I would love to appear on a rap album!

If/when you’re lacking inspiration, how do you kickstart your creativity?

Personally if I’m not feeling creative I just leave a song for a while. I’m a firm believer that creativity comes naturally and shouldn’t be something you have to work too hard at. For example a song that I have written which will be released later this year took me four years to write. It was a stop-start process but I’m glad I left it for a while to make sure that it’s the best it can be.

What was the first album you ever bought?

*NSYNC

How have your surroundings influenced your music?

Living in London has had a big impact on it as it is a very creative and artistic city and I have thrived off the city’s creative buzz.

Anything you’d like to add?

Thank you so much for your support and I hope you enjoy Prologue as much as I did writing and recording it.
